We ran together for a good cause – Miell Group at the Zayed Charity Run
At Miell Group, we believe that corporate presence should not only be about everyday business operations, but also about creating community value, taking responsibility and supporting initiatives that stand behind meaningful causes.
In this spirit, Miell Group supported the Zayed Charity Run as a company group — a charitable running event that brought together sport, charity and the power of an international community in Hungary for the first time.
An international event with a shared purpose
The Zayed Charity Run is an international charitable running event that highlights the importance of helping others through the experience of movement. The initiative has already connected several locations and communities around the world, and this time Budapest also became part of this special event series.
The run was not only about athletic performance. It was also about unity: people from different countries, cultures and communities standing at the start line for a shared charitable purpose.
For Miell Group and Miell Green, this is why it was important to be present as supporters of the event. The values of the initiative are closely connected to the mindset we represent as a company group: responsible thinking, community involvement and long-term value creation.

Miell Green in Városliget
As part of the event, we were also present in Városliget, where participants had the opportunity to get to know Miell Green’s products and more sustainable solutions.
Miell Green’s presence was especially important to us because we do not see sustainability as a separate direction, but as part of the broader mindset of the company group. We believe that responsible decisions, environmentally conscious solutions and support for community initiatives can strengthen one another.

Our colleagues also joined the run
In addition to our presence as supporters, Miell Group was also represented by two of our colleagues, Pákozdi Orsolya and Csitári Nikoletta, who took part in the event as runners. Both of them returned with personal experiences, challenges and valuable memories.
Orsi entered the 10 km distance, and her goal was to enjoy the run. Although the weather was not ideal, with light rain and wind at the start, the race still became a memorable experience for her.
The route started from Heroes’ Square, continued along Andrássy Avenue, crossed the Chain Bridge and then followed the Pest-side embankment, with the turning point in front of the Parliament. For Orsi, the route itself was one of the most defining parts of the event.
“It was a truly special experience for me to run through the capital on this route.”
The family-like atmosphere of the event, the many international participants and the meeting of different cultures also made the day memorable for her.
“It was especially interesting for me to experience so many different cultures coming together in the capital.”
For Niki, the Zayed Charity Run was primarily about charity, community and personal growth. It is important for her to step outside her comfort zone from time to time, take on new challenges, grow and gain new experiences — and at this event, she was able to experience all of this at once.
“It was a special honour to represent my workplace, the MIELL company group, at the Zayed Charity Run.”
Although the weather was cold, windy and rainy, for Niki this was exactly what gave the event one of its greatest strengths. The run became a real challenge for her, especially as running is not her main sport.
The race led through some of the most beautiful parts of Budapest, so alongside the running experience, the unique atmosphere of the city accompanied the participants throughout the event. She was also deeply moved by the enthusiastic encouragement and gratitude expressed by supporters along the route.
“We were able to experience the joy and strength of unity without borders or differences.”
The event became even more special for Niki because it turned into not only a company experience, but also a family one: when her goddaughter Luca heard that she would be taking part in the run, she immediately asked to join as well.
According to Niki, events like this have real community-building power, and leading by example is one of the strongest tools for creating genuine change that starts from within.
More than a run
For us, the Zayed Charity Run was more than a sporting event. It was an opportunity to take part in an initiative that brought together movement, charity, international community and responsible corporate presence.
We are proud of our colleagues who represented Miell Group as runners, and we are pleased that we could support an event as a company group that communicates real values.
We believe that occasions like this do not only create meaningful experiences for the participants, but also strengthen the community mindset that is an important part of long-term corporate culture.
Thank you for the experience
We would like to thank the organizers, the participants and our colleagues for allowing us to be part of this special day.
Miell Group remains open and committed to supporting initiatives that build community, serve good causes and create value — in sport, in work and in everyday life alike.
